Kelly Carstens

 

Kelly CarstensKelly is the school counselor at Independence Elementary School in Lakota. She has worked in the education and counseling fields for over 16 years. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Education and Counseling in 1996.

 

Kelly is also the proud “mommy” of Kennedy (15) and Carter (8). She and her wonderful husband, Scott, are actively involved in all of their children’s activities. They are especially proud to support the Acting Up organization. Kelly has been serving on the Acting Up Board for over 3 years as prior Secretary, prior Parent Liaison, Stage Manager and on the production teams for Footloose the Musical, Annie Jr., High School Musical, Mulan Jr., 2010 production of The Wizard of Oz, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

 

Kelly is very proud to be a part of this wonderful organization! She has been honored to work alongside the truly talented and unforgettable cast members, hardworking crews, most dedicated directors and production teams and the kind, supportive and loving parents. She feels blessed to have made so many beautiful memories and friendships with all of these people over the years.
