Cindy Kathleen Wilmes

Cindy Wilmes As graduate student at Miami University, Cindy holds her Bachelor of Arts in Education and loves teaching children. She is currently the Musical Theater teacher at the Wyoming Arts Center and a Project Development Editor at Cengage Learning.

No stranger to the stage, Cindy has performed in over 25 productions in the Cincinnati area over the past 10 years. She has a background in tap, jazz, ballet, and her new found love - ballroom dancing! She has worked with choreography and dancing in various local theaters over the years. Some of her children's projects include co-directing/choreographing Disney's CinderellaKIDS with Loveland Stage Company. Some of her favorite dancing shows have been Ballroom with Footlighters, Inc. and two dance showcases that raised proceeds for charity, Viva Las Christmas and Ballroom to Broadway.

Miss Cindy has been very busy over the past year! She joined a few other Acting Up alumnus this summer to perform in two plays at Acting Up's sister company, Lebanon Theater Company. She also danced in a show this Christmas season with Footlighter's Inc. to raise over $5,000 for charity. You also might have seen her tap dancing her way through "Christmas in Loveland" onstage with Loveland Stage Company. Her next dancing event is dancing in "Cincinnati's Dancing with the REALtor Stars", a Cincinnati-version of the tv show with realtors this January.

Cindy was the choreographer for Acting Up's Annie Jr.
