Allen Young
Allen is currently in his 19th year of teaching. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Theater Education from Ohio University and a Master's Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. For the past 10 years, he has been teaching theater and directing at William Mason High School. He has also directed for Shakespeare in Sharonville and worked as a freelance lighting designer for various theatre companies including Showboat Majestic, numerous dance performances, and Children's Theater of Mason. He has directed over 40 productions. When not at school, he enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer, and his two children, Lily and James,who are both already showing signs of having inherited his love of everything dramatic.
Allen was the Lighting Designer for Acting Up's productions of The Wizard of Oz (2010 production), How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
