Melinda Canino

Inspired by her children’s passion for performing, Melinda has been a theatre advocate and active community theatre volunteer since 2015. Her daughter, Sophia – currently a student at Miami University, started the family’s journey into the theatre world back in elementary school, and later encouraged her brother, Aiden, to join her onstage. As both Sophia and Aiden continue to perform, theatre has become a family affair with Melinda channeling her skills in project management, writing/editing, and creative design to support theatre from behind the scenes, while her husband, Paul, leverages his building/painting skills to help bring the amazing sets to life!
Melinda has an MS in College Student Personnel from Miami University and a BLS with concentrations in Human Resources and Communications from Bowling Green State University. On the stage of “real life,” she has played multiple roles ranging from career counselor and workforce development manager to HR advisor and content marketing consultant.
