MJ Contreras

MJ began their artistic journey at three years old in dance classes at a local studio, graduating from Mason High School fifteen years later in 2025. Their artistic pursuits expanded as they joined the drama club, then Acting Up onstage and behind the scenes for Camp Rock: The Musical. After their last show, not yet ready to leave Acting Up, they helped choreograph Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

​MJ has had 2+ years of experience choreographing both solo works and group pieces. They are currently studying Dance Theatre at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, hoping to pursue a performance career. They are excited to continue dancing and challenging themselves and the talented young performers of Acting Up.
