Alicia Farbstein

Alicia became involved with Acting Up when her son, Benny, was in Acting Up's The Little Mermaid and the costumers needed someone who could sew. Alicia loves to make clothes, so she jumped at the opportunity. After making her first stage costume (Ariel’s blue dress) she fell in love with costuming as well as the Acting Up family.
After attending Indiana University and Metropolitan State University, Alicia graduated with degrees in Montessori education and Developmental Psychology. Alicia taught in a Montessori school until she had her first child and became a stay at home mom that loves to volunteer! Alicia has turned being a non-profit board member and volunteer into a full time “job”. Alicia resides in Mason with her two sons, Sam and Benny, and husband, Julian.
