Karissa is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Dental Hygiene, in which she practiced for 6 years before becoming a stay at home mom to her daughter, Gwendalyn, and her son, Chase.  Karissa has worked in commercial, print modeling, and film since the age of 2. Appearing in Pampers, Chicago Kiddieland Theme Park, Borden Dairy, Dillards, WCPO, and many more. She has emceed and judged for the Miss America Organization on several occasions. In high school and college, she was competitive in cheer and dance and was chosen to travel throughout the country representing Americheer.  Karissa attended an Acting Up production in 2016 wither her daughter, Gwen, who immediately decided she wanted to be on stage instead of in the audience. At that point, Karissa knew she would now be a theatre mom and has enjoyed every minute of it! She resides in Morrow with her husband, Patrick, and their two children. When not at the theatre, you will find her on a sports field watching her son. Karissa enjoys golfing with her family and volunteering in her children's school library.
